Janet Mitsui Brown is the primary consultant of Fusui West, a West Los Angeles based feng shui practice. Fusui helps individuals and businesses enhance their lives through analysis and change of the environment.

Janet was diagnosed with cancer in 1985, but with proper treatment and support, she found herself healthy and vibrant the following year. She married her husband, Roger, in 1987. As a wedding gift, they purchased their first home, a neglected, fixer home that required work, in Inglewood, california.

In 1997, Janet and Roger were able to sell their home at a modest profit, and they purchased a new home in Mar Vista, California, near Venice. This home was a dark and boarded up, another neglected fixer, but it was a beautiful lot in a lovely neighborhood.

When they decided to tear down the house and rebuild the structure, Janet had a feng shui analysis done on the prospective house. In 2003, when the house was almost completed, the transformation from fixer to new home was mystical, and in 2004 when the rooms and furniture were placed properly, the house was complete.

Janet is also a writer-illustrator of children's books, and co-owner of a film production company. She decided to study feng shui further, and in 2004, studied with helen and James Jay in Nevada City, California. She further studies at the Feng Shui Institute in Monterey Park, California in 2005.

Today, Janet and her husband Roger are working artists. Janet hopes to have her second and third children's books out in bookstores by the end of 2009, and Roger Aaron Brown continues his success as an actor on stage, screen, television, and commercials as well as conducting lectures on his craft. Together they also invest in real estate utilizing feng shui as a blueprint for their investments. Janet is a current feng shui practitioner, offering consultations based on her studies and expectations.
